Profile

Bill has been a San Diego / Lemon Grove resident for the past 23 years. Bill started his 26 ½ year career in the US Navy right here in San Diego in July of 1965. He was also stationed in the Seattle, Tacoma and Gig Harbor Washington areas serving on two reserve training ships and had two tours of duty as a Navy recruiter. Bill started his second career as a part-time Real Estate agent three years prior to his retirement from the Navy where he retired as a Chief Petty Officer in June of 1991. After his retirement he went full-time into the Real Estate arena.

Bill and his wife George Anna of 19 years have lived in the San Diego /Lemon Grove area where they are both involved extensively in the community and veterans affairs. Bill has served in many positions in both AMVETS Posts 4 and 1775 from Judge Advocate, First Vice Commander to Commander. Bill is currently serving as AMVETS District One Commander for five AMVETS Posts within San Diego and Imperial County. He was the Senior Vice Commander for the former Encanto VFW Post 6874 for over three years and is currently a Life member of VFW O.K. Ingram Ship 1774. Bill and his wife are also members of the El Cajon Elks Lodge 1812 and former members of the La Mesa American Legion Post 282.

Bill is the proud father of two sons and two grandchildren.

Bill joined Prudential California Realty in 1994 because “They have the most to offer, great people to work with, outstanding management, and experienced staff.” Prudential gives Bill the opportunity to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds because Bill’s specialty is “people”. One of Bill’s biggest enjoyments, both professionally and in his volunteer work, is finding his ‘clients’ the home of their dreams.

Living in the San Diego / Lemon Grove area has given him the extensive knowledge that he needs to provide his first-time buyers and those new to the area the basis for buying their first home.

Bill’s motto is “customer service” and that motto has brought him repeated business from clients as far back as 15 years ago.

Gary Heflin, Branch Manager of the La Mesa / El Cajon office states that “Bill has been the recipient of the Leading Edge and Presidents Circle awards for Prudential California Realty placing him in the top 10% of all agents in the Prudential Real Estate network. He is a true leader both in our office and our community and is a true asset to the industry.”
